@sorteddan @CaptD You both have really made some nice progress. I’m ashamed to report that my own pace has been much slower. I have only played an hour or two since my last update. With this month flying by at breakneck speed (seriously, there’s just about a week left until May!) I certainly won’t get anywhere near completing the game by the end of month.

The Pedestrian I normally don't have the patience (or mental ability) for puzzle games as I tend to give up when frustrated but I've been enjoying this one, albeit in small sessions. I like the way it doesn't really explain anything but still remains quite simple to grasp the new mechanics introduced in different areas. I also like how solving fairly simple puzzles makes me feel like a genius! Its quite a pleasant change of pace for me at the moment.

No Rest for the Wicked will be a great ARPG if it can get over the hill
No Rest for the Wicked is tedious by design. Healing items in the action RPG have a 10-second hold period after use, so you’re bound to die often. Equipment loses durability each time you die, and the cost of repairs quickly adds up. Bounty missions you take on to cover them pay like shit, but that’s the job. Over and over, the game punctures any confidence you build over the course of your adventure, increasing enemy numbers and introducing new, vicious foes often to shake familiarity. That frustration complements the story’s themes. When you consider the project’s development, however, it’s almost justified.

TikTok creators can’t seem to escape a maelstrom of policy and security concerns lately. On Wednesday, President Joe Biden signed a $95 billion national security package into law. Nestled inside it was the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, which gives TikTok parent company ByteDance 270 days to sell the platform or cease operations in the United States. Policymakers maintain that the bill is not a “ban,” but a way to get the China-based ByteDance to divest from TikTok. The battle over TikTok could play out in the courts for far longer than the roughly nine-month window before the deadline, but the uncertain future of the app has kicked up a fervor among its many creators, who depend on it for community, connection, and their livelihoods.

Valorware’s 9th Dawn Remake Announced
The original 9th Dawn is the first game ever made by Valorware, kickstarting the popular series. Though it can still be played, it’s not very user friendly due to its age. Tom Au, creator of the original and founder of Valorware, has been wanting to remake his first game for a while. He stated that the state of the first game “didn’t really capture my original vision” and is excited to present its remake. 9th Dawn Remake is a full reimagining of the original, complete with quests, loot and monster pets. Also, the game has practically been rebuilt from the ground up, offering players over 200 hours of excitement. Set to release sometime this year on Steam, the game has several new features players can look forward to.
